It is not often I’m able to escape to Santa Barbara for some wine tasting in the middle of the week. So when the opportunity arose I was more than willing make the drive. I cannot say I have favorite wine tasting spot yet, but I can say I’m working on it! First stop? The Santa Barbara Winery.

For a wine tasting experience with options there is Corks n’ Crowns. Here they have a selection of tasting room “flights” to choose from. Reds, whites, sparkling wines, and craft beer tastings. The prices in “flights” range from 5-15 dollars.

On the same block as Corks n’ Crown you can find other boutique tasting rooms.

I’m a big moscato lover and found the sparkling wines flight perfect for this warm winter day.

Others chose the the flavored craft beers tasting.

Either way, you couldn’t go wrong.
On our way to the 3rd wine tasting room we stopped to make a quick phone call.
Two doors down from Corks ‘n Crowns is Municipal. A wine tasting room with a little more character and style.

You can even find an old school cash register.On a regular day they offer a tasting of 5 wines for 10 dollars. Unfortunately during this visit they explained that there was no tasting until after the new year. We decided to settle for a glass and some sunlight.

With sun starting to set we decided to end our wine tasting for the day.

Santa Barbara, wine, and good conversation was the perfect way to spend a Wednesday.
